Results produced by our calculators are estimates only. They are based on the statutory rates and formulae shown on each page and the figures you input. Your actual entitlement, liability or compensation may differ significantly depending on your individual circumstances, employment contract, tax code, case-specific facts and other factors we cannot account for.

Rate accuracy

We update all statutory rates (national living wage, statutory sick pay, income tax thresholds, National Insurance rates, dividend tax rates and more) as soon as HMRC publishes confirmed figures each April. Rates shown are for the 2026/27 tax year, effective from 6 April 2026.

Despite our best efforts to keep rates current and accurate, we cannot guarantee that every figure is correct at all times. HMRC may issue corrections or interim changes. Always verify rates directly with HMRC (gov.uk/hmrc) or a qualified professional before relying on them for any financial or legal decision.

Employment calculators

Pro rata, SSP, holiday pay, Bradford factor and related calculators are provided to help employees and employers understand statutory entitlements. They do not account for contractual arrangements above the statutory minimum, custom workplace policies, TUPE obligations or individual employment tribunal rulings. Always check your employment contract and, where in doubt, consult an employment solicitor or ACAS (acas.org.uk).

Tax calculators

Corporation tax, dividend tax, IR35 and related calculators produce illustrative results only. Tax liability depends on your specific circumstances, elections and reliefs claimed, accounting period, associated company rules, and HMRC interpretation. Results shown do not constitute a tax return or formal tax calculation. Always use a qualified accountant or tax adviser for filing obligations.

Legal claim calculators

Accident at work, personal injury, housing disrepair, child maintenance and unfair dismissal calculators provide indicative ranges only. Actual compensation depends on the strength of evidence, medical reports, liability decisions, tribunal discretion and legal representation. These calculators should not be used as the basis for deciding whether to bring a legal claim. Always obtain legal advice from a qualified solicitor before commencing proceedings.

Retirement and financial calculators

Equity release, lifetime mortgage, pension drawdown, annuity and ISA calculators are for illustrative purposes only. These products are regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). The figures shown are not a quote, illustration or recommendation. Always take independent financial advice from an FCA-regulated adviser before making any retirement planning decision.
